So I’m moving out of my college accommodation in two days time, so we had to clear everything out of the kitchen, which involved removing our beer wall, so obviously we built the wall around one of the guys.
I especially love it because while you’re claiming it’s a beer wall, it’s made up of like 90% vodka. There’s the machaela we all know and love!
Being more like me I calculated the amount of just vodka we have. 55,450ml which is like 21,000ml of pure alcohol.. yay livers.
21 litres of pure alcohol
i give you machaela everyone! ultimate babe!
eternal sigh

Yeah, it almost certainly was. It’s one of those things where you’re like, If I’d known I would have concentrated more. I was too busy drinking overpriced cider and sunbathing
there are definitely worse things you could have been doing than drinking overpriced cider and sunbathing and listening to what may or may not have been conor obrien. Definitely sounds like a good day!
one time i was with my friend matt and we were screeching our way through Nothing Compares 2 U on a karaoke machine and Chloe Moretz was standing next to us just So Not Impressed
This is my life
tom!
OOH and also I think (But this is sort of conjecture) I may have seen him in 2009 playing on a bandstand supporting Bon Iver. I remember there being an Irish guy who was awesome, then a couple of years later I found out he was on the bill, so maybe?
AH thats so funny! I bet it was him, I mean, there cant have been too many others like him right?
This was after First Days of Spring, they’ve switched up their show a bit since then, but they’re still a surprisingly good band live. Very energetic and dapperly dressed!
of course of course, to be expected, all bands chop and change over time but hey if they were wonderful once they can be wonderful always! Energetic is always a positive anyways.
Yeah, it was at Somerset House, which is a big open air venue and that in the centre of London and it was one of the quietest, most revered support acts I can think of…NATW were still incredible and Charlie played guitar with an electric toothbrush
An electric toothbrush! I am glad to hear good things about NATW live, I am excited to see them this summer. Still makes me happy when support acts blow you away y’know? Its one of life’s simple pleasures: watching young bands who kick a hell of a lot of bum.
Yeah, I saw the full band at Glasto, then Conor on his own in a little tent, when the rest were watching him and being freaking adorable. Then I saw Conor on his own supporting Noah and The Whale. He kind of stole the show a bit…
Glastonbury! What a great place to see them! man theyre such a tight knit band it just makes me so happy to hear about that kind of thing. Poor old Noah. I always feel like bands who Villagers have supported kind of miss out on the upper hand?
Because if Villagers can make Killarney INEC feel like an intimate and homely and touching venue, there’s nothing they cant do. (lemme tell you: that place is like an awkward wedding party setup!)
Yeah, I can totally imagine doing that… So cool bumping into cool people though! Oh cool people *sigh*
i think it was mostly the shock of it! cool people shock you because theyre cool and you’re frozen. you’ve seen them live before so yeah?
